Born of a collaborative studio with Hussein Chalayan and Skylar Tibbits, 2.5D is a research project on hybrid 3D-printed textiles.

In this video, a wide array of materials and geometries are used to demonstrate novel material behaviors. Some samples exhibit variable hardness and stretch, some are structurally reconfigurable; all of them leverage the contrasting possibilities of film, fabric and filament.
